java JDK installation

Installing the Java JDK:

• Go to the Java web site. Java.sun.com
• Locate the download page for Java SE 6 or use the one downloaded here:
  • JDK 6
    • jdk-6u16-windows-i586.exe (73.50 mb)
  • JDK 7

    • Must be first: jre-7u25-windows-i586.exe (30.25 mb)

    • After SDK: jdk-7u25-windows-i586.exe (89.09 mb)

• Save the JRE and JDK to your disk.
• Run the exe file and respond the the resulting dialog boxes.
• The directory structure QBW will use is drive:\java\jdkv.v.v (Mine is C:\java\jdk1.6.0)
• Follow these steps at Windows Setup-Command-Path-and-Path to configure for your windows environment.
